Privacy and Resposibility on the Internet

I am an university student. I started to use the computer in 6 years.
This is an online course about safety and security on the Internet.
We are discussing various topics. The first topic is Privacy and Responsibility.


Question 1

Do you think most people in Japan are aware of the dangers on the Internet?Why?


I think, most people in Japan aren't aware of the dangers on the Internet.
Because in Japan, there are few chances to know about the dangers.
My High School has the Internet classes.But that teacher didn't teach us about the dangers.So, they taught us only how to use the Internet.
There are a lot of people like me in Japan.






Can we rely on the source? Can we trust the information we find in blog? How do we know if a blogger is telling the trust or telling lies? Is there a bias?


Today, there are many informations around us.
I don't trust all information in blog. Not all information are the trust, because everybody can write the information freely on blog.
Therefore, I gather the informations by some big company's websites.
And I must ascertain what blogger is telling the trust or telling lies in the blog.
This is most important, I think.

In Japan, people think it is good idea. Because most Japanese restaurant in other country are not real. So, many japanese people are disappointed at their Japanese foods.
Therefore, they don't want to call it that are "Japanese Restaurant".
And they want to familiarize to the taste of real Japanese foods, I think.

In other countries people think it is not good idea. They object this policy. Because they think even Japan has strange foods. For example, Mentaiko spaghetti, Rice burger and Teriyaki burger etc. Maybe This policy is too strict for them.

I understand both says.
Surely, when I went to New York, I visited Japanese restaurant. I ordered Udon. But it was not Udon. It's like Chinese noodle. I and My family were so suprised!!
This is the sad fact for Japanese. I am happy to be able to eat Japanese foods at other country, but I want to eat real Japanese foods.
However, I unterstand it is the unreasonable policy for the managers of foregin Japanese restaurants. Because they should earn by their business. I can be satistied they must make the foods that they matched to customers.
It is very difficult problem, I think.
